Rainbow Chorus presents “The Music in all of Us” on May 28, 2011

The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo-Wellington is proud to present its 35th concert production, “The Music in All of Us” at Harcourt United Church, 87 Dean Avenue, on Saturday, May 28 at 8:00 pm.

This concert invites the listener to reflect on the meaning of music. Whether it’s an expression of love, a safe place to heal, or a chance to laugh and dance with friends, music encompasses all parts of life. Through the performance of both music and poetry, this concert explores the songs within each of us. From madrigals, to vocal jazz, to quintessential pop tunes, the Rainbow Chorus asks “what does music mean to you?”

Following the performance, a silent auction fundraiser will be held with more than $3500 in prizes up for bids including weekend passes to the Hillside Festival, restaurant and local business certificates and fabulous artwork. Drinks and food will be provided after the show.

Tickets for the show are $15 for adults ($20 at the door), $15 for students and seniors and $5 for children under 5. Advance tickets are available at Ground Floor Music (13 Quebec St.), Guelph Artisans Store (Quebec Street Mall) and Out On The Shelf (141 Woolwich St., Unit 106), plus Opus II in Kitchener (100 Ahrens St. West), online at www.rainbowchorus.ca or by calling (519) 829-2225.
