Marianne’s Place is an accessible emergency shelter operated by Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, and is open to all women (and their children) who are experiencing physical, sexual, emotional or financial abuse and/or stalking. You can access Marianne’s Place by calling the 24-hour Crisis Line at 519-836-5710 or, for long distance, 1-800-265-7233.
Elizabeth Place is run by Sister Christine’s Drop-In Centre. It is open for women in addition to women with children. You can access Elizabeth Place by contacting the Drop-In Centre at 519-837-0080 or visiting the Drop-In Centre at 23 Gordon St. in Guelph.
Stepping Stone is also run by Sister Christine’s Drop-In Centre. It is open primarily for men. You can access Stepping Stone by contacting the Drop-In Centre at 519-837-0080 or visiting the Drop-In Centre at 23 Gordon St. in Guelph.
If you are in a situation where you need a place to stay for one night or for much longer, Wyndham House is there to help for youth ages 16 to 21. You can access Wyndham House by calling 519-837-3892 or going to the shelter at 18 Norwich St. in Guelph at 4 pm and talking to staff. Wyndham House has a combination of long term and short term residential beds available.
